Definitely try this!

This edge control never lets me down and it's black owned. A friend suggested this to me and I haven't used anything since. I pop the top and use my edge control brush to swoop the edges into my braids. The I tie it down with my scarf until i am ready to go so it last for a while. You should definitely try this! It doesn't flake up as long I don't mix it with any other product.
